Sam Renooy

Sam has been playing ringette for 14 years and coaching for 5 years. As a player she’s been to the Western Canadian Championships winning silver in 2009 and to the Canadian Ringette Championships four times winning silver in 2013 and gold in 2014.  She played on the Team Canada West U19 team where she won bronze in 2012 at the World Ringette Championships. After her 7 years of AA Sam played on the 2015 Canada Winter Games where she and her team won gold for Manitoba for the first time ever at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George, B.C. Sam later made the 2016 Junior National Team where she travelled to Helsinki, Finland and competed in the World Ringette Championships bringing home gold. She continues to play competitively in the National Ringette League on Manitoba Intact and coaches the U16AA Winnipeg Magic.

Lindsay Burns

Lindsay started playing ringette at a young age and quickly fell in love with the sport.  Her competitive career started at 14 when she started playing AA.  Over the next 15 years she competed at Westerns, multiple Nationals, Canada Winter Games and in the National Ringette League.  One of her proudest moments was being selected to the Senior National Team for 2-consecutive World Championships.  Lindsay still plays today in the Manitoba Open Elite league and invests a lot of her time in various player development clinics and sessions throughout the province.  She has for many years and still does contribute to the sport through playing, coaching and instructing.
